The event was organized by the Vice Dean for Partnership, Research, and Innovation, the Master's and Doctoral Program Coordinators, permanent lecturers, and administrative staff of the Unhas Graduate School, together with Prof. Dr. Ir. Johannes E. X. Rogi, M.Si. (Coordinator of the Master's Program in Agronomy), Dr. Devy K. G. Sondakh, SH., MH. (Coordinator of the Master's Program in Law), and Dr. Merry E. Kalalo, SH., MH. (Coordinator of the Doctoral Program in Law) of Universitas Sam Ratulangi Manado.

The socialization visit was held to discuss potential cooperation in the Tri Dharma of Higher Education and the process of renaming the Graduate Program into a Graduate School, between the Graduate School of Universitas Hasanuddin and Universitas Sam Ratulangi Manado.

The event was opened by the Vice Dean for Partnership, Research, and Innovation of the Unhas Graduate School, Dr. Amir Ilyas, SH., MH., followed by Prof. Dr. Ir. Johannes E. X. Rogi, M.Si. (Coordinator of the Master's Program in Agronomy, Unsrat Manado), who explained the possibility of future cooperation, noting that several study programs under the Graduate Program are planned to become part of a Graduate School. This opens the door to further discussions on potential collaboration with Unhas.

Dr. Merry E. Kalalo, SH., MH. (Coordinator of the Doctoral Program in Law, Unsrat), stated that following this visit to the Unhas Graduate School, further discussions would be held with the Head of the Unsrat Graduate Program regarding cooperation in the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, including the possibility of external examiners from Unhas in relevant fields, as well as cooperation in community service and research. As this relates to accreditation, the visit to the Unhas Graduate School was intended to establish such cooperation.

The Vice Dean for Partnership, Research, and Innovation of the Unhas Graduate School, Dr. Amir Ilyas, SH., MH., also explained that one of the challenges at the Unhas Graduate School is still the limited number of permanent lecturers, and mentioned several areas open for cooperation: first, journals; and second, a new Criminology study program that is planned to be opened, in which Unhas would collaborate at the Master's level in Criminology. A double-degree program is also currently being developed, and the Rector has emphasized IT development, with the system already running and IT infrastructure at Unhas continuing to progress.

Dr. Devy K. G. Sondakh, SH., MH. (Coordinator of the Master's Program in Law), explained that within the Law program there is a specialization in Human Rights, with many theses on Gender, since Gender is part of Human Rights. She added that they have a Center for Women's and Children's Studies, and connections with the Bureau/Office at the Governor's office.
