Unhas Graduate School Holds Workshop on Strategies to Increase New Student Numbers and Admission Procedures

The Graduate School of Universitas Hasanuddin held a Workshop on Strategies to Increase New Student Numbers and Admission Procedures on Thursday, 17 November 2022, from 10:00 WITA until completion, at the GB Building 2nd Floor Meeting Room, Graduate School of Unhas.

This event was held to discuss strategies and procedures for increasing the number of new students in the Master's and Doctoral programs at the Graduate School of Universitas Hasanuddin.

The event was opened with remarks from the Dean of the Unhas Graduate School, Prof. dr. Budu, Ph.D., Sp. M.,(K).,M.Med.Ed, followed by the Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs, Prof. Baharuddin, S.T., M.Arch., Ph.D., who gave a general overview of student enrollment status since 2022. He noted that many socialization efforts have already been carried out to increase student numbers, so any existing regulations that might hinder this process need to be reconsidered.

Also in attendance was the Director of Education at Universitas Hasanuddin, Dr. Risma Illa Maulany, S.Hut., M.Nat.Res., who, representing the Vice Rector for Academic and Student Affairs, explained in this workshop that the Graduate School has very high potential in recruiting new students.

One improvement strategy involves participating in education fairs, and going forward a more detailed handbook will be prepared. Prospective students will be able to choose whichever program level they want and easily see the requirements and costs, with features designed to be simpler and more user-friendly, explained Ms. Risma.
