To achieve this Vision, the Mission of the Master of Biomedical Sciences Study Program is:

• Developing the professionalism and intellectuality of intellectuals who are characterful, innovative and internationally competitive.
• Organizing education, research and community service in the field of biomedical science to create graduates of global quality.
• Encouraging innovation in developing biomedical research by utilizing the potential of the Maritime Continent
• Downstreaming research results in the field of biomedical science

STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES

1. Producing graduates of Master of Biomedical Sciences who are superior, innovative and have character.
2. Realizing a center for education, research and community service in the field of Biomedical science based on the Indonesian Maritime Continent and globally competitive.
3. Realizing downstreaming and application of research in the field of biomedical science.

TARGET

• Achieving superior, innovative and characterful Master of Biomedical Science graduates through a learning curriculum structure that meets national higher education qualification standards supported by qualified lecturers.
• The realization of a center for education, research and community service in the field of Biomedical science based on the Indonesian Maritime Continent that is globally competitive through a quality and sustainable academic atmosphere and governance
• The realization of publication, downstreaming and application of research in the field of biomedical science through national and international cooperation
• Increasing the quality of community service based on research in
• the field of Biomedical Science involving the active role of lecturers and students.

Physiology Concentration

It is expected that after attending the Biomedical Study Program, Physiology Concentration, graduates:

• Able to master physiological concepts and techniques and apply them in various biomedical problems.
• Have broad and deep knowledge in a particular field of physiology in order to develop oneself to a higher academic level.
• Able to develop research in the field of physiology independently.
• Able to utilize physiological concepts and techniques to solve health and medical problems in society.

Pharmacology Concentration

Produce output that has the ability:

1. Able to recognize, observe, conduct education, scientific reasoning and find solutions to problems and communicate medical science and technology, especially in the field of Pharmacology.
2. Able to plan, organize and carry out research independently to solve problems in the field of Pharmacology.
3. Able to cooperate in the planning and development of Pharmacology in an integrated manner.

Microbiology Concentration

Produce output that has the ability:

1. Able to master microbiological concepts and techniques and apply them in various microbiological problems
2. Have broad and in-depth knowledge in certain fields of microbiology in order to be able to develop themselves to a higher academic level.
3. Able to develop themselves to a higher academic level
4. Able to utilize microbiological concepts and techniques independently.
5. Able to utilize microbiological concepts and techniques to solve environmental, health and medical problems in society.

Clinical Chemistry Concentration

It is expected that after attending education in the Biomedical Study Program, Clinical Chemistry Concentration, graduates:

1. Able to master clinical chemistry concepts and techniques and apply them in various biomedical problems
2. Have broad and deep knowledge in the field of clinical chemistry in order to be able to develop themselves to a higher academic level.
3. Able to organize and carry out biomedical research, especially in the field of concentration.
4. Have extensive knowledge in biomedical sciences, especially in the field of concentration.
5. Able to develop research in the field of climatic chemistry independently.
6. able to utilize clinical chemistry concepts and techniques to solve health and medical problems in society,
7. Able to carry out integrated quality control and efforts to solve inspection problems and methodologies,
8. Able to manage clinical laboratory well.
