Program Objectives

The program aims to develop a strong and internationally oriented higher education system in Southeast Asia with the capacity to contribute to sustainable development. To this end, scholarships are awarded for Master’s or doctoral development-related studies for individuals planning to pursue careers in teaching and/or research at higher education institutions in Southeast Asia. By training future academic and professional leaders, the program contributes to the following long-term impacts: • Qualified professional involvement in development-related problem solving in Southeast Asia • Graduates strengthening education and research in Southeast Asia • Strengthening structural and regional networks of partner institutions and partner universities To achieve this long-term impact, The following results have been formulated as program objectives: Program objective 1: Graduates have qualified to take over responsible positions in, or for their home region, Program objective 2: Participation of women and underprivileged groups strengthened Program objective 3: Organizational capacity, financial and personal partner institutions strengthened As part of daad’s “Domestic/Domestic Scholarship Program” offers scholarships for Master’s studies. The program is funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and is aimed at university staff on the first line, without ignoring public sector requests from academically trained personnel. The target group of scholarships are graduates from Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar, Malaysia, philippines, East Timor, Thailand and Vietnam with the first academic degree for a Master’s program, who wish to continue their Master’s program in their home country (called In-Country Scholarships) or in other Southeast Asian countries (In-Region scholarships). It was agreed that DAAD in cooperation with the Faculty of Pharmacy of Hasanuddin University offers up to 10 In-Region/3 In-country Scholarships. for the study of Master of Pharmacy Faculty of Hasanuddin University for the class of 2021/2022.

Scholarship Facilities:

1. Tuition fee
2. Monthly allowance of EUR 500 (IDR 8.5 million at the exchange rate when this article was uploaded)
3. Research allowance of EUR 460 per year
4. Thesis printing allowance of EUR 400
5. Transportation allowance
6. insurance

General Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s graduate/equivalent with maximum graduation year 6 years ago
2. IPK minimal 3.0
3. Mastering English with IELTS at least 6.0
4. Have strong motivation and commitment
