Socialization of the Indonesian Education Scholarship (BPI)

A socialization session for the Indonesian Education Scholarship (BPI) was held on Wednesday (27/04/2022). The event took place at the Prof. Fahruddin Hall, Graduate School of Universitas Hasanuddin. It began at 14:00 WITA and was opened by Prof. Dr. Hamka Naping, MA, Vice Dean for Planning, Finance, and Resources.

The event was attended by students as well as alumni. The speaker shared tips and tricks for passing the LPDP scholarship selection process, which consists of an administrative selection and a substantive selection. The substantive selection includes an interview, a Leaderless Group Discussion (LGD), and On the Spot Essay Writing.

Dr. Abdul Kahar, M.Pd, as the speaker, said that in the BPI administrative selection, prospective awardees must have English proficiency of TOEFL ITP 500/TOEFL iBT 61/IELTS equivalent. In addition, they must have obtained an Unconditional Letter of Acceptance (LOA) from their intended university.

The BPI scholarship supports the availability of well-educated and high-quality Indonesian human resources who possess strong leadership qualities and a clear vision for the nation’s future as Indonesia’s future leaders.
