Hasanuddin University (Unhas) in collaboration with The University of Rhode Island (URI) opened a Double Degree and Graduate Certificate master program. This program is one of Unhas’ flagship programs in partnership with world-class universities. In this program, students will receive a diploma & transcript from Unhas as well as a certificate from URI which is a certificate of recognition.

PROGRAM I

Graduate Certificate in Natural Resources and the Environment (NRE)

The online short course course program for skills development professionals in analyzing, managing and communicating data related to natural resources with professional teaching staff from The Rhode University Rhode Island.

1. Open to the public, at least S1 graduates.
2. 4 Courses with a duration of 7 weeks, regardless of the following subjects:
   • Web-based Mapping
   • Environmental Data Analysis and Visualization
   • Sustainable Natural Resource Management
   • Natural Resource Management Planning
3. Total 12 credits from URI (3 credits per course)
4. Participants get a certificate from URI

PROGRAM II

Graduate Certificate in NRE+Magister Pengelolaan Lingkungan Hidup (PLH)

The Master of Environmental Management program at Unhas is accompanied by an online short course process with URI to get a Graduate Certificate NRE.

1. Online Lecture on the Graduate Certificate in NRE Program (7 weeks),
2. PLH Masters Lecture 36-48 credits, 3-4 semester lectures at Unhas,
3. Received a diploma and Masters degree at Unhas and received a certificate from URI.

PROGRAM III

Graduate Certificate in NRE+Magister Pengelolaan Lingkungan Hidup+ Masters of Environmetal Science and Management

Master program in the Environmental Management Study Program at Unhas and accompanied by online short courses with URI in the Graduate Certificate in NRE program and continuing the Masters of Environmental Science and Management (MESM) Program at URI.

1. Online Lecture on the Graduate Certificate in NRE Program (7 weeks),
2. PLH Master Lecture (semester 1-2) at Unhas,
3. Masters of Environmental Science and Management (MESM) lecture (semester 3-4) at URI
4. Received a Masters degree from Unhas and a Masters of Environmental Science and Management (MESM),
5. Received a Masters in Unhas, Masters of Environmental Science and Management (MESM) and received a Graduate Certificate NRE from URI.
6. Have a minimum GPA of 3.0 in the NRE Program, IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL iBT 80 (GRE test is exempt).
